Dr. Feliz\u2019s professional career includes serving as a teacher, curriculum coach, school administrator, and district administrator working with populations of underrepresented students. She served as the principal at two Title I schools. Araceli served as an adjunct instructor in the English department at a community college and in the school of education of a private university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Dr. Feliz earned\nher Doctorate in Education in Organizational Change and Leadership from the\nRossier School of Education at the University of Southern California (USC).&nbsp; Her dissertation <strong><em>Teach Them to Read:<\/em><\/strong><em> Implementing High Leverage Pedagogical Strategies\nto Increase English Language Learner Academic Achievement <\/em>was inspired by\nher professional experience working with underrepresented student populations\nand her own desire to understand her educational journey as an English Language\nLearner<em>.&nbsp;\n<\/em>She earned a Master\u2019s Degree in Education with a Reading and\nLanguage Arts Emphasis and a Reading Specialist Credential from Fresno State.\nShe earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of\nCalifornia, Los Angeles (UCLA). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/elltoedd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Profile-e1547558726459.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-59\" width=\"135\" height=\"152\" srcset=\"https:\/\/elltoedd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Profile-e1547558726459.jpg 385w, https:\/\/elltoedd.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Profile-e1547558726459-266x300.jpg 266w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 135px) 100vw, 135px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Araceli Feliz has been an educator for 22 years serving the students, teachers, and community of the Southern San Joaquin Valley of Central California for the greater part of her career.
